4 day women’s
circle retreat

October 20—23 2024
Bamarang Bush Retreat

a specially designed retreat creating a safe space for healing, growth and expansion for those who identify as women.

join kristen vandivier (usa) and Isabel keoseyan (mexico), the founders of meditation without borders, for this nourishing experience amongst the tranquil nature of bamarang bush retreat.

Together in a nurturing container of meditators surrounded by gumtrees and ancient bushland of the Shoalhaven River Valley at the Bamarang Bush Retreat, we will explore the role of the Feminine in mythos and how that translates to our own stories as well as going deep into practices of meditation and service to let go of years of deeply rooted stress. The program will include a special emphasis on understanding and releasing the trauma so common in the feminine experience and how the realizationof Feminine power is the key to easing the world’s suffering. We will sit in circle and share stories of our own cultures, care for one another, while releasing our own trauma.

Funds raised from this retreat will go towards supporting Meditation Without Borders projects, including our service project for this retreat and funding our 2025 journey to Rwanda to teach Vedic Meditation to women who are victims of Gender Based Violence through the The Rwanda Women’s Network, an organization that helps these women heal and transform into independent, influential leaders in their communities.

about meditation without borders

Meditation Without Borders is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in California founded by Vedic Meditation teachers Kristen Vandivier (USA) and Isabel Keoseyan (Mexico) in 2020 in order to bring meditation to areas of greatest need in order to relieve suffering on the individual and collective level. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to access the life-enhancing effects of Vedic Meditation.

We founded Meditation Without Borders to make meditation available to everyone, starting with the people who have the greatest need: those who are often pushed aside, overlooked and under-supported. Not only does meditation support people directly and individually, it also serves a higher-order purpose in easing global suffering and conflict by closing the gap between self and other, effectively healing the entire world.

  • Vedic Meditators will learn and practice Rounding, often called “industrial strength meditation,” it is an advanced technique which combines simple, gentle yoga and breath work with your current meditation program.  Rounding retreats are a unique opportunity to take your practice to a new level by gaining the deepest levels of rest available. Releasing layers of accumulated stress will leave you feeling refreshed and revitalized for months to come. You will come home feeling ready to take on the world.

There is no required amount of rounds, this program will be personalized to the level at which the student wishes to participate.

  • Vedic Meditation teachers Kristen Vandivier and Isabel Keoseyan will give daily talks on the nature of the Divine Feminine and how a deep understanding of its nature can help us, as women, understand the dynamics of our own story. Since trauma is so often a part of those stories, we will look to examples in mythology of the Feminine moving from vulnerable to invincible for clues on releasing the debilitating effects of past wounds. We will also explore how the movement to heal the world’s violence and brutality is a Feminine movement.

  • We are currently speaking with local women’s non-profit organizations to host a circle where women can safely share their experiences and be involved with collective healing.
